Finding a career path does not come easily or naturally to everyone, there are those who know since they were five years old, who they want to become when they get to the age of becoming; then there are others, who either stumbled unto their career paths or found it much later on in life, either way, finding and settling into the career path that’s just right is a life goal for most.

The right career should bring joy and give purpose to one’s life, Afterall, a great deal of our time and energy is spent on our careers.

Thankfully, careers are not pre determined for us, in most cases, there is freedom of choice!

The ultimate goal of having a career is to find fulfillment and earn a living all in one place. Not an easy combination to find but your heart will lead you in direction that’s right for you if you dare to follow it!

• What makes you loose track of time?
• What problems do you want to solve?

Grab a journal or open a doc and jot down:

• Your dream job title
• Skills you want to use
• Values that matter in your work (e.g., creativity, impact, flexibility).

Visualize it! Add images, quotes or colors that spark inspiration.
